Story

Questioning what southern food means since 2021.

Mac believes every moment matters from the seed to the plate. We believe it’s important to know where your food comes from and build a relationship with your soil, its bounty, and the village that cares for it.

All the while questioning what southern food means.

Southern food is more culturally diverse than one might think, and when combined with some of the best ingredients grown here, it’s a match made in heaven. We only source from within 200 miles of us, with the occasional caveats, to give you a true taste of our area.

Mac’s started as a pop-up restaurant in 2021 and quickly grew into one of the best dining experiences in the area. We became known for our freshness, creativity, and intentionality in and out of the kitchen.

In March of 2023, they moved into residence inside Flora De Mel, and have since become one of the area’s best new restaurants.

Mac’s has grown roots too deep to be transplanted here in Rossville, Georgia. And hopes to be at the forefront of revitalizing the BLVD.

Mac’s is a waste-conscious restaurant focused on sustainability and operates with less than 5% waste annually, We use every part of everything and work with New Terra to compost what we can’t. We believe in limiting our footprint and only work with purveyors that practice the same.
